BLEVE 現象( Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion)是指沸騰狀態之液化瓦斯，氣化膨脹而爆炸之現象。例如LP瓦斯槽受火焰侵襲，瓦斯蒸發使槽內壓力上升，此時安全閥動作放出內壓，但因槽內瓦斯加熱過度，安全閥無法宣洩巨大壓力，瓦斯槽終告破裂
